About Us

We are an independent locally-owned and operated upscale restaurant and have been open continuously since 1947. Shaw’s is currently undergoing renovation. We will tentatively reopen in early July, 2017 into three concepts. Shaw’s will continue as a fine dining restaurant. The bar will be moved within the building and renamed Harry’s Bar (after Harry Shaw the original owner). The previous bar space will become a bakery named Mable & Grace. We are looking to hire experienced and qualified team members that are serious about a career in the restaurant industry.

Hours of Operation

We are open every day except Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. We are open all Holidays and working on those days is mandatory for all staff.

Open Positions


For Lunch, Dinner and Sunday Brunch Shifts 7 days/week for Harry’s Bar and Shaw’s Restaurant. Some experience is a must. Extensive training is part of the program. Teamwork amongst servers is mandatory.

Sous Chef

A minimum of 3-5 years of line cook experience required. Job duties will include working the hot line, prepping, organizing coolers and product, working with our Kitchen Manager in managing kitchen staff, conducting inventory and expediting.


For Lunch, Dinner and Sunday Brunch shifts 7 days/week for Harry’s Bar that includes the service bar. Experienced bartenders must be able to recreate our cocktails to our specifications, pour beer, wine and have working knowledge of all basic cocktails.

Line Cooks

Experienced line cooks needed for Lunch, Dinner and Sunday Brunch shifts 7 days/week We are a scratch kitchen and use local ingredients when available in season. We change our menu four times per year. Shaw’s is fine dining with an emphasis on steaks. Harry’s Bar is more casual with an emphasis on small plates, sandwiches, rice bowls, etc. All food for Harry’s and Shaw’s comes off the same hot line.


Mable & Grace Bakery is a high quality, all-scratch kitchen with an emphasis on artisan breads, birthday cakes, croissants, cookies, candy, etc. Bakers mostly needed for early morning shifts and a few later-morning shifts, 7 days/week.

Baristas in Bakery

Responsibilities include making simple espresso/coffee drinks, brewing coffee, waiting on customers. For shifts 7 days/week for our hours of 7 am to 9 pm.

Retail Clerks in Bakery

Responsibilities include waiting on customers, taking special orders, heating bakery items, packaging, selling cakes, artisan breads, cookies, etc. For shifts 7 days/week for our tentative hours of 7 am to 9 pm. Must have a good attitude and be good with people.

Front Desk Host

Assistant to the shift manager who will greet and seat guests in Shaw’s restaurant. Will assist in organizing take-away orders and in taking reservations. For Lunch, Dinner and Sunday Brunch shifts 7 days/week.

Dining Room Shift Managers

Manage the serving staff, greet and seat guests, trouble shoot, answer phones, take reservations. For Lunch, Dinner and Sunday Brunch shifts 7 days/week.
